Loan Quality Initiative: Update
In March 2013, the MPF® Program began publishing PFI Advisories on the subject of Quality Mortgage Guidance.  Through the quality control review process the MPF Program identifies common underwriting deficiencies across all PFIs reviewed.

Webinars Continue to be Well-Attended
As of May 31, the MPF Program has conducted or hosted close to 30 webinars covering origination, underwriting, and servicing topics.  Over 2,400 PFI staff members have attended these webinars.  The most popular were the Rural Housing Underwriting and PFI’s In-House Quality Control Program webinars.  See the Webinar Training Calendar at http://www.fhlbmpf.com/info/calendar.asp for upcoming dates and times.
 
The MPF Program Remains Attractive to PFIs
PFIs continue to find the MPF Program a very competitive secondary market outlet as the program reports purchases of $5.9 billion year-to-date, as of June 30, 2013.
