If your agency chooses to participate in depopulation, we want to make sure you can confidently use the TWIA depopulation website. We have a few important reminders to help you through the Assumption Reinsurance Depopulation process.

1. Pay Attention to Program Deadlines

From now through October 31, 2017, your agency can approve offers through the TWIA depopulation website. Approved offers will be sent to your policyholders on December 1, 2017. Any offers your agency does not approve on the TWIA depopulation website, or on which you have taken no action at all by October 31, 2017, will not be sent to your policyholders.

2. Learn to Use Our Website

Our "Depopulation Video Demo" is available on our Learning Management System to help you through the process. You can also access our PDF job aid with instructions on how to select offers. Please click through to this previous communication to access this important training. We encourage you to confirm your selections prior to October 31. 

3. Contact us with Questions on System Performance

The “save” button was removed this year, at the request of the agents, in favor of a dynamic save feature that updates the web page automatically each time the agent selects a carrier.  Please note that this additional functionality can mean that it takes additional time to make selections, depending on the speed of your local network. We are aware that some agents are having difficulty with the website based on this new feature and are working to improve system performance.
